10 Tips For Successful Interview

Now a days getting job is more difficult and most of the candidates don’t come up with the employer needs. Many candidates disqualify in interview because of not expressing his personality and skills to the interviewer which shortlist the candidates from the rest. After many working and consulting with the respective HR managers of the multinational firms ,I came to know that what they look in a candidate even not up to the mark their skills which they required?. The following tips I want to give to my friends especially fresh candidates.

 

1. Firstly proper dress up for an interview with clean shave and try to dress up in a suite and comb your hair  properly and decently. This give a positive impression to the interviewer

2. Get complete information about organization to which you are going for interview, by visiting the website of the company and keep in mind in which products they are working and justify your skills relevant to the post you applied for.

3. Don’t answer like a long story, your answer should not more than 20 to 25 seconds because interviewer guess that how sharply you give the relevant answer of concern question.

4. Prepare those questions that you feel that interviewer will definitely ask, or get someone to mock test you.

5. Always shake hand before and after the interview with smiling face and important is that your hands should not sweat while handshaking.

6. Understand for a while that what is the purpose of the question being asked and what appropriate answer should a interviewer is expecting from you.

7. Getting over the fear with a deep breath before interview starts.

8. Don’t show your weakness in front of the interviewer ,if he ask about your weakness?? Just answer that your weakness is perfection in a work

9. Try to answer the question about salary at the end of the interview because at the end, candidate and interviewer both know the degree of the interview been conduct and it makes easy about salary negotiations.

Crises In Pakistan

These days everyone seems to be talking about the elections, the assassination of Benazir Bhutto and its impact on all over the Pakistan, the ever high anti Pakistan and anti Army reaction in Sindh, Balochistan and FATA. The Pakistanis specially, middle and lower class , are faced with a long list of other hectic crises (making their daily lives a unhappiness) which, unluckily, have got very little attention. Latest in the list are the Load-shedding, water, Sui Gas and Flour or Wheat crisis.

The Power crisis or Load-shedding are now and specially has been more severe since last 2 years or so that here in the city (Lahore), people feel like living with the people of more than hundred years back . After every 1 hour electricity used to be go off which now a days has been a little better but still pakistan is in a deep shit because of the stupid strategies of rented rental powers to overcome the electricity supply There are many areas of old city which are often without any electricity, gas or water for entire day in this extremely cold weather and no doubt most developed areas of pakistan has been tunning to the old cities.

There have been situations changed towards crucial since Pakistan came into being but people of Pakistan don't think ever before so many crises have hit us in such quick succession. since the democratic government after dictator Mr.Musharaf, particularly, we have seen nothing but crises, one after the other, and not a single one handled properly by government. It would not be wrong if we remember 2007 as a Year of Crises for Pakistan. On other occasions, authorities could have controlled situation by strict administration and better management. The inability to act and indifferent among the top government officials on these serious issues is surprising, especially when elections were just around the corner. How can all political parties candidates even think of coming to people and ask for votes considering the terrible situation after their years of bad governess? Or may be enough votes have already been managed. Everybody seems to be interested in power game and political survival and there is no plan of action to handle the very basic problems. Nobody is coming forward from government authorities, explaining the cause of, for example the flour crisis, and informing public on the actions being taken to improve the situation.

The year 2008 has brought several gifts for Pakistanis including the Bijli, Paani, Sui Gas and Aata Buhraan (power, water, natural gas and flour crises). Yes water too because not many people understand the connection between water supply with the availability of electricity in Pakistan. The tube-wells which supply water to most cities are run by electricity. I remember about 2-3 years ago, when there used to be criticism on Muslim League (Q) Government that all decisions are made somewhere else and they just say Yes Boss (dummies). Mr. Musharraf gave an interview on Geo and highlighted the point that he doesnt interfere at all in government operations and the only things he looks after is the war against terrorism and the future power needs of Pakistan. I am sure many of you remember the presentations and news clip from aiwan-e-sadr (Presidential Palace) which used to appear on news channels daily and then the press briefings with claims of new dams (including Kala Bagh dam) to be built and a plan has been made to fulfill Pakistanis power needs for next 20 years. So, what happened to our tax money that has been wasted on funky presentations and planning and no actions and results?

Well, the result is that after last years nightmare situation in Karachi and some other parts of the country, now there is a serious Power Crisis in the ENTIRE country. Here in Lahore, we are facing load-shedding up to 7-8 hours a day in urban areas (that is in Lahore) and things are not improving. Initially the load-shedding was for 30 minutes after every 2 hours but since last week, they do it after every 1 hour during the day time and every 30 minutes after 5 PM (for 30 minutes mostly and 1 hour in between). The most irritating part of this load-shedding is that NO schedule whatsoever has been published for people to know and try to manage things in a better way. I was watching Geo and they were showing reports of rural areas of entire country where they are getting electricity for only 2-4 hours a day. Every indication of things getting even worse in January/February. Well, welcome to 2008.

Daily Times filed this report on load-shedding:
The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has decided to increase the timing of load shedding with a seven-hour shutdown on regular basis from Tuesday (today), officials told Daily Times on Monday.

The officials said that the authority was facing a shortfall of around 3,000 megawatts and that it had decided to increase the load shedding in rural and urban areas. Pakistan requires around 11,000 megawatts per day, while the per day availability is around 8,000 megawatts.

The officials said that the shortfall might increase to 5,000 megawatts during the upcoming summer, adding that the power deficit was likely to decrease during the start of 2009 because various new power generation projects would be started.

It has been decided that WAPDA will do five to seven hours of load shedding per day in the rural areas, while four to six hours of load shedding will be done in cities the officials added.

The Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) has asked all distribution companies to increase the load shedding hours to overcome the shortfall. The closure of canals, release of less water by the Irrigation Department and the suspension of gas supply to power generating plants caused the power shortfall, PEPCO Managing Director Munawar Baseer Ahmed said, adding that the load shedding might increase in the coming days if WAPDA did not get gas or water to generate power.
Meanwhile, a cabinet meeting decided on Monday decided that any load shedding interval would not last longer than half-an-hour, Irfan Ghauri adds from Islamabad.

Geo has this report on Flour Crisis:
The flour crisis has intensified as people facing hardships to buy the essential food item on increased price. In Karachi wheat flour, ghee and edible oil have not been available at most of the utility stores. The flour if available at a utility store being sold at Rs.155 ten kilogram instead of the official rate of Rs. 130/-

Long queues of the people can be seen outside the utility stores in the city for flour, ghee and edible oil. The 10-kilogram bag of wheat flour being sold at 155 rupees instead of the official rate of Rs. 130/- at utility stores in the city. The other shops are selling the 10-KG bag of flour at Rs 280/-

The flour price in Zhob, Mastung, Loralai and other parts of Balochistan has hiked, while the food item is unavailable at utility stores in Quetta and other cities of the province. The chief minister of Balochistan has issued directives to the concerned officials for action against hoarders and called report on the issue within two days. According to the provincial secretary food Azam Baloch, 20-KG bag of flour being sold at Rs. 278, at 130 Fear Price Shops in Quetta and at various sale points arranged by the flour mills.

In Peshawar wheat flour is available only at few shops and being sold at Rs. 500 per 20-KG bag. According to the shopkeepers the flour supplies from the mills have decreased. The crowds of people can be witnessed at the utility stores but a spokesman of Utility Stores Corporation has said the stores could not meet the rising demand of the flour.

According to the NWFP Flour Mills Association the crisis was the result of dwindling supplies of wheat and flour from Punjab.

I started to recall the number of crises that we have seen under Musharras regime and the list is really long. I wonder when he leaves office (surely he will leave or forced to leave someday soon), how people will remember him (if they do) and his X years in power. A dictator who gave Pakistan more crises than anyone in history? Here is what I could think of in just 5 minutes:

We are also hearing the news of upcoming Rice Crisis which is expected very soon. Beware all you rice lovers. I just dont know what is the way out for ordinary citizens of Pakistan? Where is the impact of that economic prosperity and progress? People need things like food, energy, shelter, education, health and security to survive not the mobile phones and leased/financed motorcycles and cars. We have been hearing tall claims during last 5-6 years and I think we have a right to ask questions that where are the results? Whatever it is, some well known people have sure made a LOT of money during that time.

When I look at the current situation of Pakistan, it seems like a Masailistaan. As an optimist, I like to believe that things would be better in future. But just how, that I do not know. Somehow as a nation, we have to figure that out and quickly. Rigged or not so rigged elections may take place next month but how it would bring any positive change in ordinary persons life remains to be seen. Article Writing Tips For Earning,Business Promotion or Selling

Now a days of electronic era , internet is playing a vital role in communicating with people via websites that writer express his feelings and emotions via articles. When you need to write articles for promotion of your business, sell or communicate with users. Some are the strategies that I would say should be adopted for impressive article writing.   

Firstly brief that what is the purpose of your article that you wish to write? For business? Are you willing to earn handsome money from the article? Do you want to express your self as brand ? or whatsoever you want to express your feelings to the people.

You should determine the purpose of your article that you are going to write and keep in mind that that what details do you want for writing the article. This will also make easy to you decide that what material you need to do to add detail to your article.

If you are writing article on promotion, you should not research enough because you should know about your specified product you want to promote and other thing is that your article should be shorter because article about promotion should not take it words from 450 to 550 words

Next step is to develop the sense of your article for example If you are writing for subject ‘promotion’, the sense/idea would not be relevant to print publication purposes rather than you need to know what your target audience wants and what are their needs. Articles that are written for print publication requires you to understand the needs of the publication and what it’s looking for.

Other tip for the impressive and attractive article is the outline detail. I suggest you  that the outline of longer article should not be shorter than the outline of the shorter article because it gives a sound impression to your target audience. Outline of every article is the heart of the whole article that outline should be written like when the reader read your article outline ,he should quickly came to know what is article is about. I have personally experienced that many time we don’t pay attention on those articles whose first 2-3 lines don’t appeal us, we move to the other stuff and leave the rest, might the information we are looking for would be in between somewhere of the written article. This is the core point that need to be focus.   

Outline should be short depend on the size of the article as stated above but the important information can be marked with bullets or whatsoever  you adopt the way to highlight your point.

You can either write the text, images, videos or shuffling images to capture the attention of the user, its all depend to you what you does but experts says that images appeal more than an article written with text only. 

After writing the outline and the title of the blog or article your next step is to gathering the research information that is relevant to your article, while searching for relevant text, avoid using more keywords for searching because that might cause to the irrelevant stuff you are looking for and that is more strongly focused. 

Always keep in mind when writing the articles ,is that the article should be user friendly and for reader’s point of you, the words should not be complicated and difficult to understand.

When writing for print publications, study the publication itself. Then you’ll understand the needs of the publication.

IN LONDON … The owner of Wikileakes website arrested in London  and the  British judge refused to the lawyer of Julian Assange about its bail on Tuesday ,WikiLeaks owner told in London court that he will fight efforts to prove himself innocent in the case   sex-crimes investigation in Sweden, It’s a new case arises about the founder of Wikileakes and the actual subject matter about the stolen secrets are not been discussed in court yet??? Wikileakes website’s finances increasing the pressure on both Visa and Mastercards cut off funding methods, The spokesman of Wikileakes said that the secrets about the different states will keep showing in future apart of  what London court does with the founder of Wikileakes"This will not change our operation," Kristinn Hrafnsson (spokesman of Wikileakes) brief to press. As if to underline the point

Mr. Assange wad summoned in afternoon Tuesday in front of magistrate court after turning himself in to Scotland Yard earlier in the day.After the refusal of his bail he shown no reaction when he was sentenced to be in the custody of United Kingdom

The Lawyer of  Assange and Assange himself claim to the Swedish about two women stem from a "dispute over consensual but unprotected sex" Go back to Auguest they have claimed that the suite file in Swedish about sex case has no political intimation .But Swedish officials have not accepted that lame claims.
Actually about the Sex case has its two modes and Mr.Assange has to face both allegations which are :

• sexual molestation
• sexual molestation and unlawful coercion.

Its very very difficult for Assange to fight for Extradiction .As Extradition experts say that its very tough to fight against the European allegations, barring mental or physical incapacity. Moreover the experts says that if warrant was rejected and prove no legal value in court, Sweden could simply issue a new one.

Imran Khan and Wikileakes

Imran Khan, I would say that is the only political leader who is apparently clean, dedicated, trustable and enough competent man of principle, in performance with of one mind people, to schedule the new strategies of pointing out the corruption and other crises of pakistan. As far as Wikileaks is concern, also reveals that Imran Khan is the only Politician who is always point out and take stand against Americans and tell them about their imperfect and fraudulent policies in such a precisely manner that is very very far away from the abilities of our supposedly successful politicians that are only good in the eyes of those unfortunately some lower middle class people who are illiterate and don’t choose about their future.

Above all this one thing is noticeable and our intelligence bureau should play a vital role in the race of bad governess and corruption and make aware among the others about those politicians who says that they mean what they say, have a good faith and passion to serve the nation and give them a brighter future, and who have already been a number of commendable achievements to their praise. Imran Khan fail to came up like our present and the politicians who passed away in the history of Pakistan because he has refused to compromise with power in return for political benefit and deny the policies of Americans and criticism on them is also a major hurdle in the political career of Imran .

In the interviews of Imran Khan we noticed that he laugh at by the strategy makers who choose best policies for betterment of Pakistan according to there best knowlege. But in the case of Imran Khan although he has more impressive policies and appreciatable, But again he has his limitations. No doubt he is admired and respected by many number of people who are sufferers and badly targeted in various governments. Imran Khan is confident and can mobilise the trust of the people which recently we saw in the floods ,provide them as much as he could and try to develop the kind of hope which they lost when nobody was timely with the flood victims. I feel that Imran Khan is the leader of future and definitely change the lives of poor people of Pakistan and will always condemn the wrong things and the wrong doer both.

An important thing is what about a prime minister who tells the ambassador of America that he will condemn and protest in parliament about American drone attacks on his country, and then eventually don’t bother that serious matter, and what about a army chief in a democracy who tells the ambassador about the replacing about the elected president apart of the fact that he dislikes the opposition leader, who would expected to win next election, this mean he would dislike the next elected opposition leader of Pakistan??

Wikileakes And Pakistan

Wikileaks has created Two common school of thoughts to the revelations of it. One is, they reveal nothing really new. second, they do not expose the complexity behind policy choices. For instance, everybody knows that our leaders are corrupt and give an impact of bad governess all over the world, and have no strategy in future for the betterment of Pakistan. They are doing leg pulling to other politicians instead of proving good governance. But now we came to know that this has been shared by our benefactors who deal with them closely and know them personally and have approach to the piece of information that we don’t have.

In the same way similarly its and open truth that the government is not guilty to lie to parliament on the most important issues that relates to the security, dignity, independence and sovereignty of the country. But then according to I F Stone “all governments lie.” Moreover, Wikileaks came over with information on what international leaders think of our leaders and what policies they had been adopting since the eras of different political leaders. They do not cover other aspects of policies that are a product of very complex circumstances.

The above reactions would be no bother what if Pakistan was a normal country. In every state, political leaders sometimes discusses the matters and issues in private and they would not like to be made them public among the people. If you Recall western political leaders caught saying things when they did not realise microphones had not been turned off – like Bush speaking to Blair scornfully or Gordon Brown expressing his frustration with an elderly lady Labour citizen who disagreed with him. They certainly discomfit the leader concerned and provide grist to the mills of the media and his opponents for a while, but are of no lasting meaning. The latest Wikileaks also contains interesting views of envoys about the heads and senior ministers of their host governments.
